Home Depot sells nice wood...

In my area (Detroit Michigan USA) Home Depot has a nice area of premium woods
such as red and white oak (buy VERY sharp tools), maple, poplar, some other
exotics... and they will cut the length you need. They range from small pieces
(1/2" to 1" thick) to 1 x 12" x (8 foot?), and also heavy stock like 2 x 2"
etc. Never thought of it, but I bet you can get mail delivery ???  :-) Harry
