Allright, I am finally ready to start rackmounting my P-600. I just need
to double check a couple of assumptions because I am darn nervous about
this whole deal.

1) I'm looking at it all and noticing all but one of the boards are
already under 18." By my feeble reckoning I could just cut this bad boy at
an appropriate spot (wherever I wnat) and solder up some jumpers. Not pretty,
but it should work (right?).
2) Next thing I'm looking at are the control surfaces. The pots on this
machine are mounted on boards (one of which is the aforementioned over
18"). I'm assuming I can just remove these and install new, smaller pots
on the back of my faceplate with jumpers from the original board.
3) I was just going to cut a hole around the Prophet's membrane
switches/display and bolt that puppy onto the front of the box.

While Doc Frankenstien might be proud, any suggestions for a cleaner
solution are definitely welcome.
