AW: Matrix board! (a CMOS one)

Hi everybody

I just discovered the Harrys CD74HC22106 8x8 digitally controled analog
switch array, that can be used instead of a matrix board. It can be
cascaded if you want more inputs/outputs, and can handle +-5V or 0/10V
signal and control voltages. Patches can be stored in RAM and recalled when
desired.

I fear that THD could bring some problems with control voltages. It's rated
at 0.05% (@ RL 10k, Vi 8Vpp, supply +-4,5V), but if I want 10Vpp, with +-5V
supply? Datasheet tells me it's possible, but what about the THD? :/

Maybe worth tailoring the control and signal voltages to fit in the chip
requirements. Can it really works, or it's just another waste of time?
