Ok, compensating the integration operation of FM
via vca is possible, but +6dB per octave is required.
If you allready have a large FM at the bottom, you need`
e.g. 8x the value at the top!!

With non sinuoidal waves you even have to do differentiation.

In both cases: more noise.

I think there is a sync parameter for Yamaha OPs,
so that would be no reason for doing it analog.

Is there any reason at all?

Hardly. The only thing is that that TG77 etc. does not offer
much midi controll on the operators. That's a pity.

A friend of mine programmed a sysex recorder, so you can
change nearly all parameters in real time, as 
far as midi can do it...

A, they where supposed to do dance music anyway....
