Matrix board!

While I think a matrix board would be a very cool addition to a synth, I
have no plans for buying one. On the other hand, I've got something to think
about for any of you who DO decide to get one (or who have one)...
You could mount a single row of DPST switches across the top - horizontally,
so they switch left and right - and sort of double your number of modulation
sources (assuming the columns are the sources and the rows are the
destinations). The same could (obviously) work for the destinations - by
adding a row of vertical switches. Across the top you'd have twice as many
"labels" for modulation sources as you have columns in the matrix - see what
I mean? I think this would be kinda neat, and might make for very big
changes in sound by just flipping one switch.

Just brainstorming...
