Type of LED switches used on Arp Pro-DGX?

Hi folks,

What is the name for the type of LED switch which Arp used
to replace the toggle switches on their old Pro-Soloists to
make them into Pro-DGXs?

Can they be used in any kind of similar application?  I take
it the LED gets it's voltage from whatever happens to be
flowing through the switch?  I was mainly just wondering if
those types of switches can be used anywhere a regular two
position thumbswitch is used?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
