Placing graphics on control panels

Hi folks,

Can anyone tell me of a method to place graphics on synth
control panels?  I can design the boxes and lettering fair
enough on my computer using Paintshop, but how do I get it
from the screen to an actual transfer that I can put on my
project?

I used to use those cheesy rub-off kind that Radio Shack
sells, but they wear off over time, unless I spray the panel
with some kind of clear sealer.  Isn't there a way to do it
on my computer screen now?
