I have found that all you really need to do to add external CV the "down and
dirty" way is to just put the CV through a diode and connect it whereever.
I mean, I dont believe this circuit with the transistor is all that
perfectly scaled either, so it really wont matter.
If you want to get spiffy, you would use a fet opamp and scale the circuit
to respond correctly to volt/octave. This way you could play notes and such
with the bassdrum.

I always use resistors that are about %50 greater than what they say, cuz I
have let some smoke out before cuz of bad editing.

AFAIK, it looks like the 68nf/47K/decay pot combo is what is setting this
thing up to oscillate continually. I would say using a 4066 or FET to switch
this part in and out of the circuit will STOP the continual oscillation.
This I think is what you want, to be able to start and stop the constant
oscillation, right?
Whats great about the 4066 is that you can use it to do more in other parts
of the circuit, thats the only reason I suggest it.

Anyone have any other ideas?

Rob
