About to build my first Fatman - any secrets?

I am a long time builder of electronic kits.  I built my
first Paia Flanger in 1979.  So I've got the basics down
pat.  I'm about to build me a Fatman and wonder if there is
anything I need a heads up on?  Is there something NOT
covered (assumed) in the instructions, or perhaps a typo
that I should be aware about?  When I built the Paia
Flanger, they had a typo in the instructions which told me
to solder the transistors in the wrong way.  That was in 20
years ago, but I would really appreciate knowing if there is
some special technique, or advice beyond the norm which I
should know about.
