am quite happy with their specs (which are similar to polystyrene as far 
as I can tell).  The disadvantage is that they are expensive and large in 
larger values (nearly $2.00 for a 2.2nF) but hey, they aren't going out 
of production any time soon!  And they are built like tanks, unlike some 
polystyrene caps I got which melt real easily.

Hi Tony

You're absolutely right.  Mica caps have excellent stability, and a very
low dissipation factor.

BTW, the 4027 VCO module in the ARP 2600 used a mica cap.
