Poly 800 worth? $ (somewhat OT)

     I found my poly-800 for 120 USD.  I would have paid 200 for it, and 
that's before I found out about the easy filter mod.  BTW, if you do the 
resonance as well as the filter, you can force the filter into 
oscillation a good deal more than before.  It's very worth the time, and 
it's a great way to injure your hearing.  If anyone has further modded 
their poly8, I would like to hear how.
     The previous owner had been using it for nearly seven years, and 
it...   still had all the factory presets.  (!!!)  I can't imagine.  I'm 
not a purist, I still use one of the presets, but how could anyone give 
up that creative control?
     Anyhow, the poly8 is great for sequences, it has a smooth analog 
sound (despite dig. envelopes), and it is very affordable.
