Poly 800 worth? $ (somewhat OT)

Hullo,

All this talk about modding Chris' Poly 800 has got me thinkin'
about one sitting in a local music store. (used ofcourse)
The asking price is 2000 Norwegian kroner. (that is about $300 USD)

Q: How much is the market price for these?
   And is it any fun for modding?

On a very realted note: The secondary school I attended some
years ago have an old Crumar Bit (One or 99 ...not sure) and
perhaps I can fetch it, but how much is this one worth?
