So does one of mine. When I turn on my modular, the SEM-style VCOs
and one of the 3340's are in tune immediately, but the second 3340
is out of tune by 50 cents or so. Its tuning will crawl in to the right
value
over the next quarter of an hour, so if I am patient, I don't have to
re-tune
it at all.

The same for my OB-8. Some of the 3340's in there take some time,
but if I'm waiting 10 minutes I don't need autotune at all. If I decide to
use autotune immediately after switching the OB-8 on, however, I
will have to make more autotune runs over the next minutes, too.

Now my Rev. 3 Prophet 5 gives me no choice: It does an auto-tune after
switching it on automatically. I whished I could cancel that !
