discrete audio opamps ? (was: Audio Op-Amps)

   If you can find a copy of Audio Electronics, last month's and this 
month's deal with exactly this.  They have small circuit diagrams of 
different kinds of discretes from tube to JFET, MOSFET to regular bipolar 
transistor, and other hybrids.  Unfortunately I missed the first issue 
due to me having moved, so I'm not sure what was in it.
   I did build my own op-amp more than a few months ago, it actually 
worked pretty well for having made it out of 2N3904's and 6's!  I think 
it was a design in the Analog Circuit Design book which has been 
recommended on this list before.  Now I'm seriously tempted to try out 
some of the designs they had with better trannies.
