I think, if you leave away teflon, the polystyrene types offer lowest leakage and hysteresis, thus behave allmost ideal like a cap. Other types, especially ceramic simply won't do. Bad hysteresis. The vco cuurent source errors are bad enough, no need to add additional error with crappy caps. m.c.
