DIY box for adding shuffle to a Sync Signal

I have also this wish to make my 808 swing ;-), but - sorry to say that - I  
think, your way is the wrong one: As far as I know the sync is a sync and not  
a clock. The "clock"-signal of the sync is only a reference, to which the  
internal clock of the CPU of the 808 syncs itself.
I found this when I used the sync-out-signal of my SBX-80 as real clock- 
signal for a 16step sequencer and as sync for the 808. After a tempo change  
the synced 808 needed two 16th notes "to come in sync" with the sequencer.

My conclusion is, that I have to delay the trigger signal, that triggers the  
audio circuits, while the offbeats.
