Actually, these are two separate books. I bought the combo from Tech
America earlier in the year when they were having a 1/2 price sale. The
Book is indeed Horowitz and Hill. However, there is also a "Student Manual
for the Art of Electronics" that is Hayes and Horowitz. The Student manual
is only about 1/2 as thick as the book. It is soft cover plastic bound as
opposed to the hard cover book. So, anyone ordering from Tech America
needs to be certain they are watching closely that they order what they
want.
As far as comparing the content. I will leave that to someone who has had
more available time in 1999 to read much of these great books. Paul S. has
kept me too busy building MOTM modules (for myself of course).
