The CA3401 is "pin compatible" with the LM3900. It sure has the "norton" input
structure... There is an internal difference in the intermediate stages...
Motorola has the LM2900,3900 MC3301, MC3401 on the same page...
the LM29-3900 has Vcc +32V, the CA3041 has Vcc +18V
Otherwise they are the same chip...
BTW my spice model for the "National" part did not behave... the Motorola part
works
so I'm inclined to believe the Motorola Schematic (the national might be
misleading...)
