slightly ot: room impulse response and inverse impulse response

Electronics Australia did a project about a year ago which Dick Shits
Electronics sells. it plugs into your soundcard, and has an amp in it, it
doesn't matter if the sample rate of your sound card is minimal, cause it
supposedly counters this.
I already own a scope, i just want a larger screen for the hell of it.
