Go look up a gent named Nam June Pak (that is probably really mis-spelled
terribly) the pioneer in video synthesis. I had a friend who took a course
with him in a collage in CA about 20yr ago ad as part of the course they
made a video synthesizer. The box was basially like a leveldetector and
colorizer. Anthing wit a brightness between two knob settings could be
turned into any color you wanted. The box had about 10 sets of these
controlls. It had 4 or 5 video ins and mixed them. We used to tie my 2 AKS's
into a ocilliscope and aim 3 oe more camera at it and made some pretty far
out stuff (for the 70's anyway). For modern stuff, do a search for a program
callex X<>Pose - great stuff.
