Nintendo PowerGlove Theremin

I recently picked up an old Nintendo Power Glove.  About a year ago I saw a article online about someone modifying one of these toys into a Theremin type device.  Just wondering if anybody has heard of this or tried this.  Also just picked up a Jomox XBase 09 analogue drum module,  "I love it" Some of the best sounds I have ever heard.
