wellll... I disagree entirely. The window effect is moire,
and alaising is nothing to do with it.
And, the TV screen effect is largely moire too, where one of the
patterns is the jacket design and the other is the pixel
structure of the TV display, together with the ghosting/delays
usually present.

BTW anyone making hand operated LFO generators, try using moire
effects and a LDR. You can photocopy line and screen patterns
onto overhead projection transparencies.
