I imagine that one could do this, but the signals would
still have to be compatible wouldn't they? So you still
have to either attenuate the high voltage tube signals or
boost the solid state low voltage signals so that they can
be mixed. I think it makes more sense to do the former, so
that other solid state equipment can be patched into the
tube synth. BTW, I do not believe that there is any great
danger of fatal shock with these circuits, the output
currents are quite small.
For myself, particularly as am building this synth one
module at a time, a switching matrix is not practical.
I just want a bunch of modules to patch to each other, that
I can expand as my time permits.
