By now most prople will have found the "faux pas" in my description. One
side of the Xfmr is the "common" so the comment about the supply getting
"pulled" to one side is "bvllshit". This only happens in a
"pseudo-ground" which is used for a full wave bipolar supply where you
have no center-tap.
Also... www.signaltransformer.com has the design info, but it is near
the end of a 38 page .pdf download (six Mb) and I misplaced my print
catalog so needless to say I'm "p!ssed" about having to download it. But
I did. It is there and well worth reading. It will explain everything
you need to know about simple power supplies. Also worth noting is the
pre-designed "triple output" supplies throughout the catalog... they
have all the comp values you need.
