best of modular

hey everybody,

i have started making prototypes for my 2nd modular synth and i was wondering
which module designs are best before i do any building. from building the MBM
i have learned that some designs just don't cut it in real use. for this next
synth i want everything to work perfectly. so far i have chosen tom gambles
vco4, and a slighly modified version of his ladder filter. i have also just
finished testing the polyfusion env. follower which performs nicely after a
few tweaks and component changes. i plan to test chris macdonald's 12/24
dB/oct state variable type filter. i still haven't even started comparing
designs for ring modulators, env generators, LFO's, etc. etc..
so i want to hear from you. maybe we can hold an election - which modules do
you like best?
