I thought that soon (through the use of nano technology) we'd be able to just
show our nano bots some data sheets, some schematics, and some vintage photos
and with a little time they'd whip up the synths of our choice -- provided we
don't blow ourselves up or some similar fate. One can imagine a symbiotic
future with the nano bots where they provide many interesting devices for us,
and where we spend all our time and money building more and more nano bots.
Of course no one would actually own any of these devices, they'd all be
leased from ....Microsoft? Sony? Roland? AOL? (I was just kidding guys)

Wondering when my jet-pack is arriving.
