Hi Harry

>in town right now is at Guitar Center... the G-VOX system for $49 (US).
Damn, I am livin' in the wrong country...

>quasi-triangle, HPF a quasi-sine.
                 ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^?????????
A highpass does a sine from a square?????
                 Or have I misunderstood?

>in tracking. (There is the AXON pitch to midi which is supposed to be
>fast but I haven't tried it...)
I tested the Axon for a mag. It is really very fast. They do it by measuring
the reflections of the attack of the pick that are coming back from the ends
of the string (sorry, but my english is not good enough to explain this
better). This is perfect if you know how to play guitar. If you don#t you
will have different troubles, because the pickup reports every unwanted
longitudinal wave from the string.

ONe day! One day I will do this with my Casio Midi-Guitar! One day I will
build six multieffexwizzardsuperduuuper... oooh, one day!

Wake up, Florian! Ok, ok, I step back to my soldering iron to fix the other
11 patchcords...

Gruss,
 Florian Anwander
