:::If one could use two coils on one core (or magnetically couple two of them

The idea was to use something from the shelf. As I have computed,
the inductance is nothing to be afraid of (passive divider only!).

I'm just comming out of the lab for my lunch (frugal).

Someone has ordered lots of these crap inductors, maybe they are good
for damping hf problems, just because they are so crappy.

The blue plastic housing can be pulled of, voila, a plastic carrier,
a magnetic core (no ring, just a bar a magnetic stuff), and very thin
copper wire. About 5x7 mm, Unfortunatley the magnetic bar can not be
pulled of. At least I think so.

Next I'll test it with freeze spray....

If it is not suitable for vco, then maybe for other not so demanding
applications, e.g. VCA , VCF. These guys normaly suffer from the same
problems.

But I can see no reason why these coils should no serve well in a vco.

Ahh, well, hum. Yes hum should be eliminated by using two, as humbucker.
