homemade synth challenge ???

My entry is this...
Two astable oscillators made with 555 timers...
Photocells repalce the timing resistors... they
face out of the "box"
(y'all use a box dont'cha??)
at different angles, so that as you turn the box
you can get different light levels at each cell
(or the same...)
The Squarewave (pulse???) outputs go into
a CD4070 or 4077 exclusive or/nor gate
as a ring modulator.
You dance around with the "box" and make
a racket....
