Of Envelopes and Generators

Hi All,

I'm embarking on building a few Envelope Generators currently, and
the one in the Roland SH-101/MC-202 seems to be an interesting one. So,
since the schematics have been posted from here to kingdom come on the
MC-202, I was wondering if anyone else embarked on re-engineering the
MC-202 envelope generator? If so, could anyone provide me with some
assistance on getting mine up and running?
Also, are there any other envelope generators out there worth
looking at? I've seen most of TomG's stuff, and have the Electronotes
PCC.. all of them seem good, but (I'm torturing myself) I'd prefer to see
discrete designs without op-amps to start... just brushing up on discrete
transistor theory with a fun twist. :-)

Thanks In Advance,

The Proteus
