homemade synth challenge ???

Hey Harry. What sort of synth? You can do wind or surf with
noise and a filter. I assume you mean a cv-musical synth. 
vco/vcf/vca/egs..etc. The CEM3394 is the only "real" solution 
to a 30min synth challenge.

If you leave the pots and jacks loose on the bench and the iron 
is hot....maybe 10mins.  BTW you can get the -6.5V from an 
opamp.  

Something like the 556 DEG would do for EGs and might take
another 10mins.. That leaves 10 for the power supply...;-)
