homemade synth challenge ???

Wow... the build your own synth in 30 minutes CHALLENGE !!!
What are the rules?
Can you design the circuit outside of the 30 minute limit...
Can you order parts ???

Like sit down at the bench, soldering iron in hand (already warmed up...
scopes on...)
and wack out a synth in 30 minutes ???

It would be interesting... how much synth could you come up with in 30
minutes ???

Reminds me of a day in college when a roommate bet me I couldn't build a
Color Organ from scratch (while hallucinating...)
I won about 5 hours later, but by then most of the colors had "dried
up"....

Hey Jukka, I mean no disrespect by these off the wall comments. It
really is a damn good question. OTOH, 30 minutes might be a little
short... I'd like at least an hour...

PS: Drive your car into the local music store at 3:00 am... any synth
you want is yours...
less than 1/2 hour... Uh-oh... red flashing lights and those sirens...
