hello,
I have been using the photo etch pcb system for a while now and
I find it very effective. However, with my newest undertaking I
think i need some help or guidance.
See the compressor in the channel strip of an SSL 4000E mixing
console makes drum sounds explode from the speakers. The only
problem is that this mixing board costs $160,000 and the
dynamics section is not available separatly. (Im sure it would
be over priced if it was) So, being that I work in a recording
studio that has this board I have the service manual and
naturally schematic of this module. The problem is I see myself
wanting to build at least 8 of these probably closer to 30. I
dont think that drilling all the holes on 30 single sided
circuit boards sounds fun so I would like to get a real PCB
manufactured. I have never done this so Im looking for someone
to design it for me or to hold my hand through the process. i
dont know what software to use or what any of the variables in
the process mean. hole size? board thickness? etc.
so, could someone who has had a PCB manufactured help me?
please.
I would be happy to make the circuit available. and if anyone
wants a board....
