Too bad that many modern delays don't do this anymore.

But it wasn't so uncommon on older digital delays; I have
a handfull of digital delays that all have this continuous
control of clock rate.

But didn't the EH 16 Sec also have reverse and half speed 
options ? These three features in combination, variable clock,
reverse, and half speed, should be pretty unique.
(Never played one - I should say "this is what caught my 
interest to try one some day".)
