tube noise

I must be getting senile. Right here sits an Airborne Instruments 
Laboratory (Cutler-Hammer) model 7010 Noise Generator. It's basically 
a heavy pedestal with a Bendix TD-40 inside (off to one side it's 
labelled AIL-113675--and "Radioactive"). It's a thin glass tube about 
a foot long with a cold cathode and a wire anode.

I got it for $5 at a hamfest (hell of a paper weight). Anyone know 
anything about it? (I really should check it with the Radiac).
