Eight bit computer hardware/software

Not an 8 bitter (sorry), but:

Don't forget the (infamous) Atari Falcon. It's a 68030
machine capable of 8 track 50 Khz sampling.
There's even a Cubase Audio/Midi for it. Yep, the first
Cubase Audio.
It has on board 56001 DSP/16 Bit stereo Codec (AD/DA). 
Wonderful machine! I'm  still using it every day. For some
time the best HD/MIDI  recording computer available.
Lots of other great audio software as well (and a lot of
shit, also...)
Rare, I suppose. But quite a lot of people bought it for 
playing games only, having no idea of its audio capabilities,
so you might find one VERY cheap if you're lucky..
