Micro logic is a sequencer only package. They tried to market it but a
little unsuccessfully I believe.

The new micrologic uses all 32 bit code. As we all know this is a big no-no
under BOSH95 because it's so crap. BOSH98 has fixed those bugs, (Or rather,
they actually got round to implementing the feature properly. As they
originally touted real-time streaming as being the big benefit for win95
but it never worked) and Emagic's latest range are the first to take
advantage of this. Cakewalk and CueBase still use the safer and more
reliable 16 bit code.

I've got Logic Platinum 4 and it has the same problems and I'm not going
through all the shit I had to take trying to upgrade the OS last time. Not
at the moment NE  way. If Emagic want me to upgrade to BOSH98 and risk
losing my life's work yet again they can go jam their software up their
clacker.

But I digress.

You will probably find, like others who have written sequencers in 32 bit
code and expected them to run under BOSH95, that the timing  will suck.
When BOSH95 decides it want's to go off to banana land for a bit, your
sequencer will slow down or just plain stop for 40 seconds while BOSH has a
little sleep.

This is claimed to be fixed under 98. What they actually meant was. "We
made a big mistake with our original idea of "Preemptive multitasking" and
we dreadfully sorry we won't let it happen again. Honest!"
