Line switching

First off thanks to all of you who answered.  
I've definitely been enlightened.. and don't 
wory I will be very careful about isolating the 
controll circuit from line if what I use is not 
already isolated.  

I think I am going to try to get the solid-state 
relays.  Although I really liked Batz idea of 
going to a surplus motor place to look for rel
ays.  I will go to the right area and see which 
I find first.
