I just finished reading a Sci-Fi book which had as part of it's future world
a situation in which the Chinese, being tired of the US's trade sanctions
etc, cracked *all* the software produced in the US as soon as it was made,
and offered it free on the net, thusly distroying the US's software
industry. The idea of reverse engineeing and posting the Doepfer modules
will not accomplish this, but it will surely hurt him some. There is some
justice in using his own methods against him. Maybe others will recognise
some of their designs from the posted ones!
