My is firmware is available via Tony on a preprogrammed PIC.

We chose to sum the pitch bend and note cv outputs using external circuitry
because, to be honest, there would have been some serious limitations with
what could have been done using the PIC used in the design. The most obvious
being that there's limited i/o pins to play about with on the 16f84,
limiting the amount of bits we could use on the DAC. Anyhow, many people
like to twiddle a pot rather than scale the pitchbend via MIDI. We felt that
this bit should be kept 'analogue' :-)
Of course, I'm speaking regarding the midiDAC only here.
