little OT : drilling pcb's

    To drill fiber glass, you really should be using carbide drills.  High
speed steel (HSS) is just plain to soft (you are after all drilling through
glass fiber, which is very abrasive).  The second choice is cobalt alloy
drills.  These are a lot harder (and more brittle) than high speed steel, and
more expensive (although, not as expensive as carbide) and should last a bit
longer.
