AW:AW: circuit rights violation

One question to those, who know more about marketing and law :
would it be (theoretically!) legal, to buy Doepfer Modules,
and remove all the wobbly jacks and Pots and rebuild it with
decent sized elements and a well designed front panel and then
( thats the question ) resale it ? (For me, it seems illegal,
allthough the module is bought officially by Dopefer and so belongs
to the person who buys it)

I don't want to do so, but I am very interested, if that would
be possible.
