I have a friend who IS an intellectual property lawyer (patents & 
trademarks a speciality), and she's going to be very amused (even if 
some of us aren't) when I tell her about this f*cked up situation. 
I'll see if I can get some concrete info. This subject has come up 
before (and probably will again) and I remember talking with her 
about it the last time.

Right now she's reading the findings in the Microsoft case...
