Well, Paul knows when to pick a good time to stick in a plug <grin>.
However seriously, I (a total modular newbie and electronically challenged
diy'er) really appreciate the PS / JH partnership. If I had to go
completely DIY from JH's great designs, it would just never happen. But,
when that great little box arrives from Paul with everything I need inside,
opportunity meets motivation and I reap the benefit of some great design
and Paul's refusal to use anything but the best quality parts and
construction techniques.
If it were not for PS and JH, I would not have a modular synth. The others
are either too expensive or too cheaply made to suit me. I know "kits" are
not a challenge for most of the guys on this list. I read virtually every
published word here and have learned a great deal mostly lurking. But,
these kits are helping me learn and providing one great synth at the same
time. Thanks to EVERYONE for the sharing that goes on here.
So, knowing that JH gets his just reward when I buy I kit from PS, I do
feel like I am taking revenge on the "other" guy. He isn't getting any of
my money or respect.
So, to PS and JH, THANK YOU for a great partnership. Keep the modules
coming.
