All,

  I dont normally rise to the bait, but..

1) I have always found eric to be helpfull guy with a great deal
    of knowledge and as such I hold him with a high respect.

2) How things sound is a matter of preference, I like Robert Schroeder
    a lot of people think his stuff is rubbish, fine, I dont have a problem
    with your opinions.

3) If you going to insult someones work, "It'll be a cold day in miami"
    type of quotes you will offend the persons efforts, Id be really miffed
    if someone slated my stuff. takeing it past saying "i dont like this sound"
   and onto "its not as good as" is starting to get personal, this when it
hurts.

4) As Rik pointed out this is to talk about diy, not prefernces for sounds,
    so lets forget this stupid argument.

5) Ive spent just deleted a whole pile of email from synth-diy as they wern't
    relivant to me (tube Adsr's are something that dont appeal to me) or that
   were pointless comments. 

Im sure original poster of the offending message didnt set out with the intent
of harming eric (if it was tom I hold him with as a high a respect as I do eric,
but for different reasons).

So, can we get back to electronics?
