Dangerous Ohms: Was: large value resistors

Well, I have seen similar signs on construction sites where I work, only it
is a different value. Yep, it's a good laugh. I work for a power company,
and what's really funny is that for us, ohms can be dangerous things. For
example, if you are standing in substation during a short circuit condition
somewhere, you don't want very many ohms between right foot and left foot
location. That's why we bury all that copper. :)
I have experienced a few "smoke letting" experiences. In this situation,
they take on a whole new meaning. And BTW, we work VERY hard to put all
that smoke IN the wires, so we would appreciate it if everyone would try
hard not to let it out.
