Dear all,

I indeed got a mail from Eric Barbour, who is *very* upset about 
Tom's message. Eric demanded an apology, which I have given him, 
and wants to defend his product on synth-diy. I have invited him 
to join the list to discuss his viewpoints. I do hope he joins the 
list so a proper discussion can take place. 

I did a quick scan for messages concerning circuits with tubes,
and I think he has quite a reputation in the field of tube 
electronics! So I think we can only welcome him to synth-diy!

In his mail there were indeed words about legal action. 
I hope and think it will not be necessary to go as far as that.
Please bear in mind that behind a product or circuit there's 
a man (or woman) with pride and feelings that can be all too
easily hurt. 

Also, please bear in mind this is an open forum, and basically 
you can say anything you like, but also be *careful* with the 
things you write. Synth-diy is a forum to discuss diy synthesizer 
electronics, nothing more.
