rack mount cabnets

Yow. I suppose it would work, but if it's built from particle board (like
my microwave stand is), that's a bad call. The particle board weighs a lot,
does not hold screws well, and tends to sag if there is a lot of weight on
it.

I built some from 1/2" plywood, and they are quite good - barely portable,
but rugged, and not hard to build if you have a friend with a table saw. If
you are _never_ going to move them, old steal electronics cabinets are not
too hard to find, and usually dirt cheap - I bought a 6 foot steel cabinet
once for $10! After moving it I understood why it was so cheap.
