I'm not surprised! You should have had your bass player hold onto it
while you gave it a good, sharp bend. Might have come up with a new
sound...
I have an old grill igniter that I used for years but it doesn't work
very well anymore. On a good day you could get a 1/2" arc. Now I use
my Zerostat 3 pistol, which is much more convenient for zapping
things, people, etc.
