Update on my Obie Trek...

Hi All,
Thanks to everyone who has been advising me re. my OB-8 problems. Everyone
has been really reassuring, and taken away some of the fear of opening 'er
up and fiddling, which despite the fact I have been building lots of other
stuff, have been afraid to do. After all, it's my Obie! ;-)
Anyways, the balance problem seems to have been corrected. Luckily, the
top board was responsible for voices 5 through 8, and a quick perk up on
the volume pot for that board balanced things out again.
Now for some other quick Q's...
a) How difficult is it to "loosen up" or lubricate the button switches on
the front panel? Alas, a couple are a little sticky.
b) How much of a pain is it to fix keys which are triggering late (only
off the keyboard, not via MIDI)? I have never done such an operation
before, but there are 4 keys misbehaving in different spots on the board,
and it would be nice every now and then to play the Obie FROM the Obie!!
Thanks again everyone!
Cheers,
Gavin Muir
